Yes this blog is winding down, that is.
I have pretty much written about what I intended to write about, when I first started this blog back in April 2011, and I have no need or the tiniest shred of desire or motivation to continue milking the same cow (that is wrt the genre community itself). I have said what I feel needed saying, for those who have eyes to see and ears to listen… I have written far more articles than I originally ever intended to (over 90 now), when I planned to write about 60 or so when the idea for this blog first took hold back in 2010. I want to, I need to move on to other things, interests that have no bearing on the controversial themes that this blog covers – namely de rigueur anti-Semitism as anti-Israelism among the professional SF genre community, the taboo of even daring to mention the obvious in this respect; and the related thoughtcrime of ‘Islamophobia’ heavily pushed by the odious, bullying, know-nothing fever-brained genre Left. And remember the Western SF community is dominated – suffocated really – by far Left ‘sensibilities’.
Yet short of WordPress going belly up for whatever reason, this blog and its archives are there for people to peruse at their leisure. If the reader is not familiar with its contents, and has a problem with anti-Semitism, including its pathetic modern-day disguises (such as anti-Zionism, anti-Israelism and post-Zionism) and the madness of selling the Orwellian thoughtcrime of ‘Islamophobia’ as the darkest bigotry (well Muslim extremists agree – Islamophobia is bigotry. So there you go); well this blog covers these twin horrors, and in detail, and names names. Some big names too, in the genre field that is. The altercations I have gotten into, the sheer bizarro dynamics of it all, well it’s often been quite an education in the bullying, lying, evasions, in-your-face misrepresentations and pathetic superlame name-calling of the professional genre Left (and in Tangent editor Dave Truesdale’s case the genre Right). Well when one is trying to cover up and even run cover for the oldest hatred in its newest guise, and enforce the Left’s de rigueur thoughtcrime of ‘Islamophobia’ (giving new resonance to Lenin’s ‘useful idiot’, that is the Left as useful idiots to Islamism); evasions, deceit, misrepresentations and pathetic personal attacks are all one has in one’s ammunition store.
I have even gotten the most lame personal attacks from the head honcho of the SFWA himself, John Scalzi (just do a search). Outgoing VP of the SFWA Mary Robinette Kowal claimed plain incomprehension of what I am writing about. The cowardly denials and a helluva lot worse from genre Court Jewry in response to my series evidencing China Mieville’s rabid and indisputable Jew-hatred (heavily and extensively detailed in no less than nine articles) is a scandal in itself.
I have received ‘who cares for the facts’ ire and the most lame invective from the likes of Jason Sanford, Lavie “the Palestinians have become the true Jews” Tidhar (repeatedly), Nick Mamatas, Ben Peek (in support of Mamatas), Nir Yaniv, Scott Edelman, Mark Pontin, Tobias Buckell, Rose Fox, Charles Stross, Paul Graham Raven, Michael Cobley, Fred Kiesche, Paul Weimar, Chesya Burke, Mike Allen, Chuck Rothman, Jeff VanderMeer, Felix Gilman, Jim Hines, Laura Anne Gilman, John Scalzi and others.
Note the uh Jews among them…
This Red Wolf guy is a filthy liar, a smear merchant, and the best thing to do is ignore him.
… He’s a totally looney tune and I deeply resent being smeared with the anti-semite label. Couldn’t be further from the truth.
All the above genre folk have not ONE WORD of contempt to direct Truesdale’s way btw, even as I have mentioned Truesdale’s Holocaust Revisionism repeatedly at this blog (since I alone have exposed it).
In the case of wannabe hack, the ‘Jewish’ Tim Lieder and the ‘Jewish’ Chuck Rothman, it’s a case of ‘what Holocaust Revisionism?’.
Most recently Steve Rasnic Tem, in giving support to Jeff VanderMeer on the latter’s Facebook page, concurred with Holocaust Revisionist Truesdale (well NOT wrt to the latter’s Holocaust Revisionism) and so many of the genre pro Left mentioned above, hinting very heavily that I’m a few slices short of a loaf. Apparently the ‘I’m mad’ mantra is supposed to be a persuasive rhetorical tool. Who knew? In fact the staunchly pro-Palestinian Israeli ‘Jewish’ SF writer Lavie Tidhar (who like the rest of Court Jewry has not ONE WORD to say about Truesdale’s Holocaust Revisionism despite the fact that I have publicized it heavily at my blog, yet gets all tizzy over ‘Islamophobia’), has – as is the case with Truesdale – repeatedly called me a loon (via twitter).
If any genre pro not enamored or hoodwinked by the new (and ubiquitous) anti-Semitism and associated cultural and moral relativism, is going to do what I have done at this blog; that is do more than merely hint at the kind of ugly disingenuous bigotry I have detailed, never mind name names… . Well he or she could face – if not a serious question mark over his or her career sales, that is his or her long-term, even medium term prospects in the field – at the very least a distinct lack of hospitality and support from his or her fellow genre pros. Look at who calls the shots after all!
I have another three articles to post and then I’m calling it a day.
They are entitled:
A commentary on the deafening silence in response to anti-Semitism in the genre community in contrast to the unabashed banter in response to Samuel Delany’s 1998 NYRSF esssay ‘Racism and Science Fiction’. Disturbing thoughts and impressions
Bits & Pieces: Acclaimed baby boomer Jewish genre writers, erotic fiction and science fiction (very much a lighthearted article)
And a final essay:
Of dybbuks, starships and dhimmitude
I then may get around one of these days to posting a final article detailing the history of this blog, with a description of each or most every article (and the relevant link/s) and related commentary, making this blog easy to navigate for those so curious.
Sorry to disappoint my biggest fan Tim Lieder, who has grown on me, like a fungal infection.
Hey I may pop up in the SF blogosphere and forums some time in the future. You never know… Remember this wolf bites!
